William Carpinelli Obituary

William H. "Billy C." Carpinelli, Sr., 76 of Aston died on January 9, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Henry J. and Helen Della Vechia Carpinelli. Billy was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1965 and proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Barton. He was employed as a Computer Operator at First Data and had previously worked at Westinghouse and Matlack Trucking. Billy was a member of American Legion Post #926 in Green Ridge and VFW Post #4845 in Essington. Billy was an avid Philadelphia sports and NASCAR fan, and he also enjoyed woodworking. He was the husband of Janice Hoffman Carpinelli, father of William H. Carpinelli, Jr., grandfather of Ashley and Julie, great-grandfather of Skylar and was the brother of Antoinette Dougherty (late James) and the late Henry J. Carpinelli, Jr. (late Diane) A graveside service will begin promptly at 2 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
