Barbara Sue (Street) Campbell, 78 of Morristown, Tennessee and Naples Florida, passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2023, in Hospice care, surrounded by family and with Bill holding her hand.
Barbara was born on April 21st, 1945, to the late John and Nora Street from Grundy, Virginia. She graduated from Centerburg High School in Centerburg, Ohio, and moved to Virginia, where she met the love of her life, William H. Campbell. He joined the Air Force shortly after they were married in 1967. Barbara adapted to moving and creating a home, wherever his duty called. She was proud to be a military wife. They raised two boys together.
Later, she had a successful career working for the Federal government. Sue enjoyed decorating, baking, and sewing and was an avid pickle ball player. She loved entertaining family and friends. She was also passionate about spending time with her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.
Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, and two sons, Trey Campbell of Fortuna California, and Todd Campbell and wife Miriam of Brookhaven, Georgia; Grandchildren: Hannah, Leah, Collin, William of Fortuna, California, Andrew of Brookhaven, Georgia and great grandson Karter of Fortuna, California.
She is also survived by two sisters, Shirley Mae Berardi of Delaware, Ohio and Phyllis Jean Miller of Zephyrhills, Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by seven siblings.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
