DELAWARE — Darrell Clay Beaver, 71, of Delaware, passed away on November 3, 2021 surrounded by family at home. He was born in Newport, Tennessee on August 3, 1950 to Lorene (Evans) and the late Clay Beaver. He married Karen Gregg, they were married for 47 years, and she survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Brian (Jennifer) Beaver and Brandon (Mindy) Beaver; Papaw to four grandchildren, Brianna, Brice, Brenin, Brooklyn, and future grandchild, Branson; a special niece, Kristie Davis; Cathy and Jim Rachid; 4 nieces and nephews, Taylor, Morgan, Cody, and Christopher; and many other family members and friends.
Darrell graduated from high school in Tennessee. He went on to receive his Bachelors in Accounting from Baldwin Wallace University. He went on to become an accountant for the State of Ohio. Darrell was a dedicated Baptist. Outside of work, he loved to bowl, throwing multiple 300 games in his lifetime, golf, spend time with family, and cheer on The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns and Indians.
A service to honor his life will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware 43015. Burial is to follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
