Diane Elizabeth (Neeley) Luikart, aged 72, of Delaware, Ohio, was unexpectedly called home to the Lord Friday, September 5, 2025, at her residence. Diane was born in Kentucky on September 18, 1952, to the late Glenn and Frances (Hebrank) Neeley.
Diane met the love of her life, Larry Luikart in Key West, Florida, where he was stationed while serving in the United States Navy. The two were married October 9th, 1970, and they enjoyed 48 wonderful years together prior to his passing in 2018.
Diane was a kind person who dedicated her life to helping and caring for others. She was an excellent health provider for both Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital. Throughout her many years of service, Diane touched the lives of countless individuals, receiving multiple awards for the quality of the care that she provided.
In her spare time, Diane enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting Disney memorabilia and collecting quilts. When she was a young adult, she also really enjoyed playing softball as well. Diane also loved the time she spent with the Ladies Prayer Group at Christ the King Worship Center, which Diane has been a member of for 9 years.
Above all, Diane's pride and joy was her children, and her beloved grandchildren. Words like "caring", "kind", and "giving" cannot fully encapsulate the depth of Diane's character. She will be forever missed by so many.
Diane Elizabeth (Neeley) Luikart is survived by her daughters Dawn (Bill deJonge) Pendleton and Candi (Arthur) VanVoorhis; son Tyler (Mic) Luikart; grandchildren Sydney Pendleton, Devyn Pendleton, Brittani VanVoorhis, Naven Luikart, Rylie Luikart, Olivia deJonge, William deJonge, and Kaegen Schell; brother Richard Neeley; sisters Dottie Geniotto and Ruby Sheehan; mother-in-law Bertha "Butch" Luikart; sister-in-law Patricia Baldwin; brother-in-law Ron (Laura) Luikart; many nieces and nephews; as well as many wonderful friends from the Ladies Prayer Group at Christ the King Worship Center.
In addition to her parents, Diane is preceded in death by her loving husband Larry Luikart; brothers Glenn Neeley and Harold Neeley; and sister Frannie Hall.
Calling hours will be held at Christ the King Worship Center, 4701 U.S.-23, Delaware, OH 43015, on Friday, September 12, 2025, from noon to 1 p.m. Following the calling hours, a memorial service will be held at Christ the King Worship Center at 1 p.m., Pastor Andy Freeman Officiating.

Diane attended Alum Creek Church with her mother-in-law, Butcher Luikart. She was so great with Butch and one of the sweetest people I will ever meet. I am so sorry for the family's loss. Lots of prayers coming your way.
