DELAWARE COUNTY — On October 25, 2018, Evan Robert Hoffman, our little Evan Bobby came into our lives. On September 30, 2023, he was taken from us too soon.
He was daddy's best friend and momma's little snuggler. Evan was our showman, he loved to dance and sing, play the Magic Game, and absolutely loved all things Halloween. He always wanted to play with his big sister Mara or make up silly games with Grandma Siri. His favorite places to visit were Grandpa Bob's campground and Castaway Bay. You could always catch him riding his bike or his blue Jeep just like Uncle Jared's. Evan was a preschool student at Big Hearts Little Hands Daycare where he wanted to play the villain – but always ended up being our Superhero instead.
Evan is survived by his father Cory, mother Megan, sister Mara, Grandpa Bob, Grandma Siri, Grandma Becki, Grandma Lori, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by Grandpa David.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of Evan's funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Christ Community Church, formerly known as Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church, 2401 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Pastor Erin Porter will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, we ask to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, or St. Jude's. There is also a GoFundMe set up by friends and family at https://gofund.me/cc1f806b.
Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky has been entrusted with arrangements.

Evan was the perfect little boy. A little boy in every sense. He followed me everywhere and never wanted to be apart. He would hold my hand and hug me so tight every morning I dropped him off at daycare. My whole life revolved around him and his sister. We were a team - the Happy Hoffmaniacs. Every day of his life was full of playing. His heart was so pure and he was so loved and gave love in return. I don't know what I will do without him.
