Jay Cudia Obituary

Jay Allen Cudia, 76 of Delaware, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus.

Born August 13, 1949, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan the son of the late John and Mildred (Mackey) Cudia. Jay attended Grosse Pointe High School South and graduated in 1967.

Jay worked for various car dealerships around Central Ohio.

Left to cherish Jay's memory are his daughter Beth Fancher; son Brian (Holly) Cudia; grandchildren Chase (Ashleigh) Cudia; Kensie Cudia and Jack and Margot Fancher; mother to his children Barbara Cudia; sister Judy Helms; niece Cathy (Dan) Dietiker; nephew Kevin Helms.

Jay enjoyed taking road trips as a family especially to Florida and Michigan, and spending time at family gatherings. He was never the center of attention, but loved being in the presence of his favorite people. Jay will be remembered as the content, funny, loving, and affectionate individual that he was.

Private family services will be handled at a later date.
