LONDON — Jeffrey Bargo, 52, of London passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, December 24, 2018 in the emergency room at the Madison Health Hospital in London.
He was born September 6, 1966 in Kentucky to the late Haston and Claudine (Profitt) Bargo and graduated from Buckeye Valley High School.
Jeff retired from Speedway after over 21 years of service as an emergency preparedness supervisor and he attended Antioch Freewill Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling where he was a very active volunteer. He also was an ordained minister through the Freewill Baptist Association and volunteered at the election polls.
He loved his family, church, church family, and all of his friends. Jeff was never too embarrassed to let others know that he loved them. Jeff also had a huge passion for wrestling and was a bad guy commentator for SAW Wrestling in Marion, where he met and maintained many friendships as well.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 31 years, Kimberly (Jones); sisters, Anna Turner of Delaware and Mandy Bargo of London; brother, Mikey Bargo of London; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 12:00 (noon) – 1:30 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware, where funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm with Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery, Kilbourne.

Jeff was my baseball coach in 1981. he was a great coach, mentor, friend and all around great guy. I always stopped into speedway when I was home on leave to try and see him. I am so sorry for your loss.
