DELAWARE — Robert R. "Bob" Wolfe, 74, of Delaware passed away Friday, November 4th, 2022, and joined his longtime companion and love, Pamela Wolfe.
Bob was born on April 28, 1948, to the late Byrd and Mabel (Flowers) Wolfe. He graduated from Delaware Hayes High School in 1966. He went on to serve in the United States Navy. After serving, Bob came home and started his career with PPG. He worked in different divisions of production from 1969 to his retirement in 2010. He was a dedicated member of the Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
Bob was very patriotic and loved his country. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, cars and going to car shows, traveling, hunting, and was an avid gun enthusiast and lifelong member of the NRA. He gave to numerous charities over the years and was known by all as a beloved family man.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Moon) Wolfe; four grandchildren, Skylar Wolfe, Connor Wolfe, Aaron (Alex) Langhorne, Christian Langhorne; two great grandchildren and expecting a 3rd in the summer of 2023; sister Rosie Williams, multiple nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Joan Rappaport.
Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobby Kay; and four brothers, Vernon Wolfe, Charlie Wolfe, Carl Wolfe, and William Wolfe.
A service to honor Bob will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, 43015. Visitation is Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Burial to follow service in Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ohio Health Hospice, Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Warrensburg United Methodist Church or Marine Toys for Tots.
