Victoria "Vicki" Lee Carmichael, age 79, of Delaware, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, after an extended illness, she was surrounded by family who will forever cherish her loving memory.
Vicki was born September 17, 1946, in Delaware, Ohio, where she spent her entire life building a family and lifelong friends.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gloria Hartsough, brother Michael Hartsough, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Craig and Louise Carmichael, and her beloved son, David Carmichael.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Chris Carmichael. Vicki's legacy will live on through her children, Jil Carmichael and Courtney Carmichael, and her grandchildren, Brock, Claudia, and Noah, along with her great-grandson Liam. She is also survived by her siblings Pat, Mark, Chris, and her very special sister and caregiver, Kay, of whom Vicki's family will forever be grateful. As well as many nieces and nephews. Vicki was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and loved her family deeply.
She enjoyed gardening, Amish country, and spending time with her family. She had the most beautiful penmanship and a knack for putting together a beautiful Christmas tree every year. Vicki attended St. Mary's school and graduated from Delaware Hayes High School. During her working years at Bank Ohio and the Delaware County Fair office, she made countless friends and lasting memories.
She was a sweet and loyal friend to many who will miss her dearly. Vicki will be profoundly missed by all those who knew and loved her, and she will be carried in their hearts. Her spirit will live on in her loved ones and those who loved her.
Friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3rd, at the Snyder Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015, where services will follow at 6:00 p.m., with Celebrant Tom Dea'Therage officiating. Burial will take place privately on Thursday in the Veterans Section of Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the NICU at Riverside Hospital, c/o OhioHealth Foundation, 3430 OhioHealth Parkway, Fl. 3, Columbus, OH 43202, or Tranquility Hospice, 1949 St Rt 37 W, Delaware, OH 43015.

Chris, Jill and Courtney, I'm so sorry for your loss. We had a lot of fun with softball, even though it was a long time ago. Vicki was always there and I'm glad to have known her. She's in a better place now, and you have to be happy knowing this. Prayers to you.
