Virginia D. Miller, 91 of Delaware passed peacefully Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware. Born June 18, 1931, in Lewis Center, Ohio, one of nine children to the late Edward and Myrtle Hines.
Virginia graduated from Radnor High School and worked as a dispatcher for GTE for over 30 years before retiring. She was a faithful woman and was a member of Valley View Evangelical Friends Church in Delaware for over 55+ years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, and daughter-in-law Lisa Hall earlier this year.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving and supportive husband of 43 years Paul Miller; sons Doug (Letha), Mike (Kathy), and Bryan Hall; step-son Greg Miller; grandchildren Mike (Gennel) Hall, Tim (Staci) Hall, Zach (Erin) Hall, Jared (Kate) Miller, Jo Lynn Hall, and Jenny Hall; great-grandchildren Katelynn, Mathew, Kyden, Casen, and Maxwell John; brother Jack Hines; special niece Tara (Ted) Lamber and their children Alex and Hunter.
Virginia was always an elegant, and classy lady, she came from the era that you did your hair and dressed appropriately for the grocery store, and doctors' office. She was a wonderful cook, and baker, and enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. Those close to her will remember her as the beautiful, faithful, and graceful lady that she was.
Pastor Josh Walker will officiate funeral services on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware, Ohio 43015, where friends may call a half hour prior to the 12:30 p.m. service. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Virginia honor may be directed towards the Valley View Evangelical Friends Church, 868 W. William St., Delaware, OH 43015.
