Ellen Feduik

1947 - 2024

Ellen was a force of nature. She was born Ellen Marie Smith in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, to Cloyd and Marie Smith in January 1947 and grew up in Anaheim, California. As a teenager, she worked at Candy Palace on Main Street at Disneyland and was recognized for her talents as a theater actress in high school. She was offered an opportunity to perform in an off-Broadway play that she regrettably could not accept.Ellen settled down in Oceanside, California where she met her husband and love of her life, Paul. Together, they made a home that they loved so much so, that Ellen asked Paul to completely renovate it at least two times! Anyone who has ever stepped foot in their home can see Ellen's talent for design.Ellen went on to become one of the first certified Medicare billing professionals for a recognized North County Gastroenterology medical practice. She also dedicated herself to the crafts she loved and excelled at: sewing, embroidery, quilting, and designing (more) home renovation projects.In addition to being a dedicated mother and wife, she regularly tended to her elderly neighbors who needed extra help.On the evening of April 15th, 2024, at 77 years young, Ellen passed away after reaching a stalemate in her battle with Alzheimer's. She was surrounded by her family.Ellen is survived by her husband Paul, her children Heather and Robert, her grandchildren, Eva, Connor, Robert and Zachary, and great-granddaughter Paige.A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. on May 3rd at Mission San Luis Rey, Oceanside CA.
