Darlene Joyce Wilson, age 74, passed away at Tidal Health-Peninsula Regional Medical Center on July 16, 2021, after a brief illness. Born in Baltimore, MD on September 10, 1946, to the late Ernest & Marguerite Conrad, she graduated from Sparrows Point High School in 1964. Darlene attended Salisbury State College, obtaining both her bachelor's and master's degrees. She taught at Snow Hill High School in Snow Hill, MD for 32 years. After retirement, she taught at Wor-Wic Community College for 12 years.

Darlene is survived by her daughter Michelle (John) Ness and her sister Karen (Charles) Lutz, her 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, Darlene was cherished by her friend, Patrick Groton, as well as many others. She was known for the mischievous twinkle in her eye and an easy laugh that will be remembered forever.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Wilson, and her sisters, Carol Ludwig and Denise Conrad.

A celebration of Darlene's life will be held at Oak Ridge Baptist Church on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 10am to 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halo Center of Hope in Salisbury, MD in Darlene's memory.

So sorry to hear (belatedly) of Darlene's passing. She was a wonderful person--warm, friendly and a great sense of humor! Her students and coworkers at Wor-Wic Community College thought the world of her! My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Sincerely, Colleen Dallam
