Doris Ann Lobus, age 81, died Monday July 12, 2021, at the home of her son in Toano, VA. Born in Beaver, WV, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Rometa Diehl. She was preceded in. death by her husband Joseph Lobus, Sr., and brother Gene Diehl. Surviving, are her children, Vicky Nock (Sonny) of Berlin, Terry Lobus of Delmar, MD, and Joseph Lobus, Jr. (Robin) of Toano, VA. There are eight grandchildren, Kelly Bowden, Brandy Nock, Nathan Nock, Rhonda Isdell, Ashely Jenkins, Meagen Pavolik, Eric Lobus and Chelsea Lobus, and nine great-grandchildren, Connor Farran, Emily Bowden, Ethan Nock, Jack Phillips, Tucker Nock, Jude Lobus, Braden Isdell, Colton Jenkens and Luke Isdell. Also surviving is a brother Richard Diehl a sister Nancy Kirby, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lobus was a member of Athol Baptist Church in Mardela Springs, MD and the ABC Ladies Group at the church. She enjoyed cooking and word search.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 11:00 AM at Athol Baptist Church in Mardela Springs. In lieu of flowers a donation in her memory may be made to: Athol Baptist Church, 8306 Baptist Church Rd, Mardela Springs, MD 21837, or the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Rd. So sorry to hear about your Mom. She was such a sweet woman. I loved to hear her laugh and kid around, she seemed to always be able to make you smile. She will be missed for sure. I went to church with her in Salisbury. Praying for your family during this difficult time.
