Edward Johnson Obituary
AGE: 76 • Long Branch
Edward E. Johnson, 76, of Long Branch, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Monmouth Medical Center. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia. Edward was a horse trainer for 60 years at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport. He was a faithful member of McLaughlin Pentecostal Faith Church in Long Branch. Edward leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 37 years, Mae Johnson, 11 children, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7 until the funeral at 11 a.m. at McLaughlin Pentecostal Faith Church, 148 Brook Ave., Long Branch. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. Jackson Funeral Home, Neptune, are entrusted with the arrangements.

Miss you so much Poppa. All that you instilled in me will forever continue in my life. Not a day go by that Brandon misses you so, so much. William was so young but he remembers everything about you, "my best friend " as he would say. Continue to rest in the arms of the King. I love you and so much and was fortunate to have had you in my life. Until we me meet again.
