Eileen Wiles Obituary
Parksley - Mrs. Eileen Esther Wiles, 79, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Warfield Wiles, and a resident of Parksley, VA, formerly of Onancock, VA, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD.
Born June 20, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Royal Alvin Knepshield, Jr. and Esther Grove Knepshield. Eileen retired from Westinghouse, where she was a manager after thirty six years of service. She was a member of the B.P.O.E, Onancock Lodge # 1766, Loyal Order of the Moose, Exmore Lodge # 683; the Woman's Club of Accomack County, and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Eileen's greatest enjoyment was gardening, a lifelong interest in which she had much pride.
Eileen is survived by four nieces, Kimberly Irvine and husband Ken, Rachel Rogers and husband Brian, Kelly Cotton and husband Sherman, Jr., and Michelle Waltz and husband Mark; sister-in-law, Priscilla Moore; her great-nieces, great-nephews and her cat, "Lulu". In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Royal Alvin Knepshield III.
In accordance with Eileen's wishes, no public services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418, or to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Dr, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601 www.lung.org/donate.
