Elva Zenk Obituary
OCEAN PINES — Elva Irene Zenk, 88, went to her rest Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at her home in Ocean Pines. Born in Turtle Creek, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Edwin O. Kerr and Mary Craig Kerr. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Herman Albert Zenk Jr., her loving family and many good friends.
Mrs. Zenk was a U.S. Navy veteran. As a resident of the Eastern Shore for 26 years, she delighted in her life as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore, where military honors will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802. Arrangements are being handled by Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.

We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Elva passing. We found out from mom during a conversation on Easter Sunday, when we took her out for brunch. We wanted to express our sympathy to Uncle Herm and all the cousins but we don't have contact information for anyone. We pray for you all and will personally express our condolences as soon as we can.
