I first met Pete at Ducks Unlimited Dinner in 1978, he was our auctioneer and I was a first time chairman of the annual dinner. He always did a wonderful job for our organization raising large sums of money for the preservation of wildfowl. He became a friend whom I admired very much for his ability to get the job done and reach for then next project. We all will miss such a dynamic person. My sympathies go out to the family. I had known Pete since we were young. He was always nice to me & I was shocked to hear of his passing. I graduated from Bennett in '66 and he graduated in '68, along with my wife Debbie. When I was in Vietnam in '67 I received a greeting or hello from the students at Bennett. Pete's signature was on the greeting. When I heard of his passing it brought back that memory of the greeting in '67.
You have our condolences.

I had the pleasure to get to know Pete just in the last few months . As his personal Trainer , we had great conversations on our morning walks , and he always assured me that his wife Connie only had healthy food in the house and was a wonderful cook , it was all those other little devils that tempted him during the day . Also as a animal rescue person , I realized his great compassion for his dogs and animals in need . He and Connie have helped many homeless and Shelter dogs ! He was so proud and adored his beautiful Daughter Dana . I will remember Pete as a loving Husband and Dad ! A Man with such a Giant personality ! You will be missed by so many !!

Pete will truly be missed. He was not only a great asset to his family - but - also to our entire community. So many great things that Pete did - like trying to educate the community when it came to current events. From farming, to development issues, Pete brought a cadre of experience to the table. My condolences extend out to his family - God Bless Him.

I'll miss Pete greatly. He was Eastern Shore through and through. He did business with my father and my uncle and for friends I have known and was always well recommended. I did business with Pete myself and never had reason to look back. He was one of us, not perfect, but still one of the best. People like him do not pass this way often. Pete was one of a kind. My prayers go out to his family.
