William Wrightson Obituary

William Kirby Wrightson

Preston-William K. Wrightson of Preston, son of the late Frances Todd Wrightson and Edgar Williamson Wrightson passed away in his sleep on Monday night.

He was born on February 24, 1958, and was born and raised in Preston Bill was a true country boy. He loved his dog, pickup truck, two-way radio and living on the farm in the farmhouse he grew up in and the time spent with friends. Bill will be missed by Standard Fusee Corporation on St. Michaels Road in Easton where he was a valued employee for thirty years.

Bill is survived by his mothers' three sisters, Isabell Todd Phillips of Salem, Patricia Todd Hurley and Betty Jean Todd Jones both of East New Market; two brothers, Charles Edgar Wrightson of Salisbury, Bryce Donoho of Federalsburg; a nephew, Charles Brittingham Wrightson and his wife, Barrie Lynn Wrightson and their children, Chloe Lynn and Aaron James Wrightson all of Mt. Vernon, MD, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Karen Handy officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday from 12-2 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Preston. Memorial contributions can be made to Caroline County Humane Society at 407 West Bell Street, Ridgely, MD 21660 who took care of his dog, Remington when he couldn't.
