Owen Conley Obituary

OWEN DAVID CONLEY Owen David Conley, 17, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025. He was born on September 19, 2007, in Lima, Ohio, to Damian Albert and Jessica Anne (Lee) Conley, who survive in Spencerville. Owen was a senior at Spencerville High School and Apollo Career Center in the Construction Equipment Technology program. You could often find Owen working at Goecke Farms or dedicating his free time to Lee Family Farms. His love for farming developed on his grandpa's knee on the John Deere. He would drop anything to help his uncles around the family farm. He was an avid member of the Amanda Ag 4H Club, where he showed all kinds of livestock during his nine years at the Allen County Fair. Throughout his school years, he participated in many different sports, including baseball, basketball, and football. Owen was also a member of the Spencerville FFA. When Owen was not in school, working, or participating in his many extracurriculars, you could find him out golfing with his buddies. Owen was someone whose energy was impossible to ignore and whose laughter was contagious. He had a remarkable ability to light up a room simply by walking in, instantly lifting spirits with his charm, wit, and unmistakable presence. In addition to his vibrant personality, Owen was also set apart from others by his own extraordinary kindness and true compassion for others. Whether you were a lifelong friend or someone he had just met, he made you feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. His heart was as big as his smile, and he gave of himself freely to his family, his friends, and even to strangers. In heaven Owen is joining cousins, Brady Michael Bogdan, Evan Anthony Patton, Andrew C. 'Andy' Lee, and Alexandra Jayne Wasser; grandfather David S. Lee; maternal great grandparents Paul and Juanita (Bowers) Lee, John and Margie (Slentz) Harbert; paternal great grandparents Albert 'Clete' and Colleen (Wieging) Conley, Paul 'Brownie' and Rose (Suever) Sever. Owen is also survived by sisters Olivia (Jack Westra) Conley and Isabella (Jake Settlemire) Conley; paternal grandparents Butch & Denise (Sever) Conley; maternal grandmother Connie (Harbert) Lee; uncles Jason (Bobbie) Lee, Joel (Miranda) Lee, Shawn Conley, and Ryan (Nikki) Conley; aunts Julie (John) Munoz and Jennifer (Mike) Patton; cousins Austin (Kelsey Nolte) Lee, Caitlin Lee, Morgan Lee, Brandon Lee, Alyssa Lee, Sabrina (Jacob) Sandusky, Jessica (Shane) Adams, Brandi (CJ) Blocker, Hunter (Lindsay) Patton, McKenna (Aswad) Robinson, Emma Patton, Bryce Bogdan, Carly (Tyler Herendeen) Bogdan, Dominic (Klycia) Munoz, Ava Munoz, Mia Munoz, Brayden Munoz, Liam Munoz, Jackson Lee, Brayden Conley, Madilyn Conley, and Mya Conley; and many other loved ones.
