Deming - Lydia Ann Gonzales, 48, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Friday, July 2, 2021. Lydia was born on January 5, 1973 in Deming, NM to Juan A. Gonzales and Celia Reyes. She is survived by both of her parents; two sons, Joshua Gonzales of Deming, NM and Isaiah Gonzales of Deming, NM; one daughter, Ashley Holguin of Deming, NM; two brothers, Antonio Gonzales of Deming, NM and Frank Gonzales of Deming, NM; one sister, Sally Montaño and her husband David of Deming, NM and four grandchildren, Isabella, Lea, Unique and Joshua and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one brother, Juan Gonzales. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 4pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapel with Pastor, George Gillespie officiating. I met Lydia six months ago. I earned her trust and respect by treating her in the same way. When she managed to lower her defenses a fine human being emerged. She was smarter than most of us and had a passion for life that she kept well hidden. I will miss her smile for a long time.
