Alfonso Gioia Obituary
Palm Beach Gardens, FL: Alfonso Gioia Jr. died peacefully in his home on July 27, 2015 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, at the age of 91. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Gioia; three children, Edward Gioia (Kathryn), Betsy Hitchins (Richard), Paul Gioia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine Ambrette. He was predeceased by daughter, Ninetta McDonald and grandsons, Edward & Eric Gioia.
Alfonso was born on May 13, 1924 in Rochester, NY to Ninetta & Alfonso Gioia, married Mary Jane Day in 1949 & resided in Hilton, NY as an Apple Grower.
Alfonso requested no formal services. A Mass will be said in his honor, July 27, 2016, 5:30 PM at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, N. Palm Beach, FL. The family is grateful for your condolences, declining flowers and donations.
