Andrew, I recall watching you grow up at Third Church. Shepherding your brothers into church while your mom sang in the choir. The big brother. I regret that I didn't know you personally. I know that you were and are still loved by many people. You are missed each day by a mother who loves you fully and unconditionally. We grieve along with her and your whole family.

I wish I had known Andrew. He must have been a wonderful young man with so much promise. My thoughts and prayers continue to go with his parents and his brothers as they struggle to cope with the pain and the enormous loss they have experienced in their lives. Pati, may God's strength sustain you as you walk through this dark valley, and may God's loving and abiding presence comfort you and bring you peace.

Andrew, we remember how you would help when it was our turn to host the Dining Room Ministry program. One of those meals stands out for us - the time we served submarine sandwiches to our guests, all without access to the kitchen! You and your Mom prepared custom made sandwiches, dispensing friendliness, hospitality, and good food to our guests!

I wish I had gotten to know Andrew better. The service allowed for that and was a wonderful fitting tribute to him. I continue to hold you and your family in my heart and in prayer. Hugs to you Pati.

I never met you, but have had the privilege of getting to know you through all the beautiful memories people have shared about you, especially those shared by your mother. You were clearly as beautiful on the inside as you were handsome - gone too soon, but you will never be forgotten and still more people are finding out about your beautiful soul. All my love to the family. XXX

Dear Bruno and family,
I only met your sons by chance at Charlotte Beach one afternoon, but I remember being struck by what a wonderful, polite and happy family you had. I am deeply sorry for your loss and think of you often. Thank you for sharing such happy memories. I'm sorry I was unable to attend the service and welcome the opportunity to share my support with you online. Blessings and prayers for you all!

I can't remember if I signed the guest book at the service, but I was there and have continued to hold Pati, Bruno, Benjamin, and Nicholas close to my heart. Andrew was so kind to come to Peter's Dad's service just a few weeks before. I recall talking to him briefly at the reception, and warmed my heart to see him there. I was struck by the warmth he showed during that brief conversation and hug and how comfortable he seemed to be at what could have been an awkward exchange. The comments by his friends, family, teachers at the service gave me more insight into what a unique and wonderful person he was and made me wish I had known him better. Please know that Peter and I continue to hold each of you close to our hearts and in our constant prayers. xoxo

I don't know if I've written something previously, or not. I do know that more than three months out, your absence, even from 3,000 miles away still seems surreal & very wrong.you were so good, too young, & you should be with us, still.

We will always remember the sweet smile and his warm ways with people and animals. Andrew always took the time to pet and spend time with our cats and they loved to be around him, as did we. Our hearts are with you all.

I was not fortunate enough to have met you, Andrew, however, the outpouring of love and affection that I have seen on line has made you realize that you were a special person, well loved by all and definitely missed by all who knew you and loved you. Especially your mother!!!
