Betty J. Kruppenbacher (Menz)

Rochester - Died peacefully on March 17, 2021 at age 89. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mae (Geiger) Menz; husband of 50 years, Jerry; son, Rick; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Menz; sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Frank) Simmons. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca (Paul) LaChapelle; three grandchildren, Paul Alan (Evelyn) LaChapelle, Deborah (Kevin) Foley and Andrew (Rachel) LaChapelle; three great-grandchildren, Logan and Angela Foley and Aimée LaChapelle; brothers, Frank (Georgianne) Menz and Gerald (Elsie) Menz; brother-in-law, Donald (Patricia) Kruppenbacker; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.

Betty was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School Class of 1949. She spent 45 years driving a bus in the East Irondequoit District for First Student Company. In her last three years, she was a resident of the St. John's Home where she made many new friends. The family would like to thank the 5 South Floor Staff for their loving care of Betty.

Friends may call Friday, March 26, 4-7 PM at the funeral home (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday March 27, 10 AM, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 553 Humboldt St., Rochester, NY 14610. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alumni Scholarship Program at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women,1437 Blossom Rd., Rochester 14610 or St. John the Evangelist Church or St. John's Home,150 Highland Ave., Rochester 14620.
