In 1959, we moved into a new house in Webster. Hegedorn's and Star Market were the local grocery stores and there were two dairy stores -- West Main near Fireman's Field and at the NE corner of Ridge and Hard Roads. Only a much larger grocery and associated operations remains. Bruce seemed to always be there in the early days and, 61 years later, there are still family members tending the store. It's a two-way street -- principled businessman and a community of loyal customers. Many thanks to Bruce and his family whose diverse on-earth efforts have helped make Webster a great place to live. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
