Bruce Johnson Obituary
Penfield Formerly of Pittsford - Died February 23, 2020 at age 86. Predeceased by his wife, Jean Claire. Bruce is survived by his son Abram ( Amy) Johnson; grandsons, Adam and Benjamin Johnson; niece, Judy McGuin.
Bruce was born and raised in Chicago IL and graduated from the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. He was Professor Emeritus and Past Chairman of The English Department at The University of Rochester.
Family and friends are invited to call at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester on Saturday, March 7th from 3:00 until 4:30 where a time of sharing remembrances will follow at 4:30pm. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, Kindly consider donations to St. Joseph's School, 39 Gebhardt Rd., Penfield NY 14526.
