Greece: Saturday, May 28, 2011. Predeceased by her husband, Albert Filardo; and daughter, Jessica Colangelo. Survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Margaret & Richard Smith; 4 grandchildren, Maria Scalisi, Kristin (Bradley) Thomas, Richard (Amanda) Smith & Carrielynn (Benny) Siciliano; 2 sisters, Phyllis (William) Maio & Dolores Caruso; her son-in-law, Stephan Colangelo; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Friends may call Tuesday evening, 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:00 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Words can not express our sadness in hearing of your mom's death. She was a FANTASTIC AUNT, always smiling and willing to do anything to help others.. We are sorry we were unable to make the funeral but please know we love you and feel your loss

Words cannot express how hard it is to lose someone so special. Aunt Carm was always elegant, warm, and loving. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and all the family.
