Mike, Kevin, Chuck, Josette, and of course, Dad,

So sorry for your loss. When I think of close knit families, the Amalfi's are always on the top of the list!
Our family knows all too well experiencing the loss of a mother; it is devastating no matter what the timing is.
I cherish MANY fond memories of time with your mom, at the store as well as your family events.
My brothers pass along their condolences as well.

You will be in our thoughts and prayers,
Gary Pignato and Jaci Cannan

Dear Chuck, I know what you and your family are going through. I lost Les after 50 yrs to cancer this past April 15th. So remember the good times and keep your faith in GOD. He will help you through the hard times yet ahead. Carol was a very kind person and very friendly. I know she will be missed by all who knew her. Thinking and praying for you and your family. I always enjoyed Mommy Amalfi and will very much miss her at their family gatherings. I even caught her playing slots at the Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida by accident with her forever partner Chuck. I'm sure she is resting in blissful peace. Much love...

Carol Amalfi was a woman of many gifts-the greatest of these was her love for her husband Charles and her family. I remember Carol from the old days at the Amalfi's meat market and especially when we would work with the family together at the Rochester Public Market nearly 38 years ago. Carol would pull up in her "new" Volvo, check on the kids, make us laugh and then hurry back to work at the store beside Charles and Josephine Amalfi (her mother-law who she took care of for many years in her home.) She would always turn to my father, "Uncle Joe" for wise counsel. She was loved by all of us and her family as well. After being apart for almost 40 years, I happened to find her number through my sweet friend, Josette, and called Carol in Florida. She was happily surprised to hear from me, and to this day, I have no idea what brought me to that instinct to see how Carol and Charles were doing after almost 40 years. They always lived in my heart. Saddened to hear of her blindness, we both tried to get caught up on the phone. That was just a few months ago. I never dreamed that she would pass so suddenly afterwards.

My heart goes out to each member of the family. I rejoice in God my Savior that Carol knew the Lord and loved Him. May God's presence shine on the soul of our dear, beautiful Carol. Heaven will be lit up by the sound of her worship, her laughter and endearing smile.

Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine; For our light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you."
