Greece: Peacefully passed at home surrounded by his family on November 8, 2011. He is predeceased by his 1st wife, Jeanne Marshall Keenan; his parents, Thomas and Florence Keenan; brother, T. Henry Keenan and sister, Violet Thompson. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary (DiPerna) Keenan; their two children, Jennifer (Brian) Keenan and Jeffrey (Amy) Keenan; grandchildren, Abigail, Nina, Evan and Hannah; two children with Jeanne (Marshall) Keenan; Charles (Julie) Keenan and Michelle (Michael) Weinstein; grandchildren, April (Thomas) Stringham, Sara (James) Simons, Mandi Weinstein and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Bertha) Keenan, M. Roy (Jean) Keenan, sister, Joanne (Ora) Rothfuss; sisters-in-law, Tina Barone, Inez Salsedo, Patricia (Kent) Horn and Flora (David) Evans; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Charles was a World War II Veteran and a 40 year employee of Eastman Kodak Company. Charles was a member of the Rochester Racing Pigeon Organization and an avid stamp collector. Charles' Visitation will be Sunday 1-5 PM at the funeral home 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 & Long Pond Rd). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Monday at St. Mark's Church (54 Kuhn Rd.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Charles' Memory to the American Lung Association, 155 Washington Ave. Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210 or a charity of your choice.
