Charlotte Johnson Obituary
Webster: Went to be with the Lord Friday, May 24, 2013, at age 51, with family and friends at her side. She was predeceased by her mother, Evelyn; and sister, Paula. She is survived by her father, George; her loving & devoted husband of 28 years, Eric; children, Aaron (Kellie), Alexandria, Abigail; special niece, Brittany; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Charlotte was a longtime member of Faith Temple, and part of the Ministry Staff involved in many areas of ministry, most notably Worship Leader and Women's Director. Her impact will be irreplaceable.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 30th from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at Faith Temple, 1876 Elmwood Ave., where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 12 Noon. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Camp Good Days & Special Times, 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Rd., Mendon, NY 14506. To share a special memory, please visit:

I have fond memories of Charlotte (Danner) and her mom, Mrs. Newsome. I grew up admiring Charlotte in Carter Tabernacle (Orlando, FL). We served on the stewardess board together in the 70's. I am blessed to have shared in some part of her beautiful life...Sisters in Christ.

Pastor Charlotte Johnson was a instrument of God. She touched many people in the Rochester community. Eric, Aaron & Kelly, Alex , and Abby are all a reflection of how strong, courageous, passionate person she was. I am praying for you guys. I love you guys and know that God is greater still.

Pastor Charlotte was a true woman of God. I remember walking into Faith Temple 21 years ago and seeing Charlotte worship for the first time. What an impact. I looked up to her. Her encouraging words, her words of wisdom, hers songs from her heart to the Lord, her laughter, her seriousness when she was getting ready to get into the presence of God. She took that VERY serious. What an impact in my life. I will miss her greatly. Pastor Eric, Aaron, Alex and Abbi my condolences from my heart. Words cannot express what you are feeling right now. But I now God is strengthening you. Keep on keeping on! Love you guys!

Charlotte was my cousin and I hadn't seen her in awhile but we had talked often. Its a little hard for me because I just spoke with her last Tuesday. You see Charlotte along with God were my strength thru cancer. My road is not over but I know I will be just fine with Charlotte and the Lord on my side. I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I loved her beautiful smile, genuine warmth and thoughtful ways as we interacted at RCS. We are so very sorry for your loss. Words can't begin to express how much we know you loved her. She was an amazing Wife, Mom, Aunt and so very much more. I remember when Jim & I first came to Rochester, how warm and friendly Charlotte was to me. We would laugh and sometimes cry in the church nursery at the adventures you children would give us during the week. So much could be said but it wouldn't come close to what you are feeling right now. Just know she loves you all with and everlasting love, and she loved God with all of her heart! Charlotte was beautiful in every way! She was an inspring Woman of God whose life reflected our Lord Jesus Christ. She used her God given talents, one being an anointed worship leader. I have fond memories of singing with her in the choir. (Now she sings with the heavenly choir.) May God Bless and strenthen Eric and family with His great comfort and peace.

Charlotte I came to Faith Temple 11 yrs ago and u have been nothing less then an encouragement and an inspiration to me and my family. We admired the way you worshiped God whole heartedly. And just to know tht you are with him now singing and dancing and tht brings joy to my heart. Charlotte...you and I have been friends for 25 years and it has been a time of seeing and experiencing great things. We had our babies together, laughed, cried, shopped and had lunch many times, but most of all, we had a passion to serve the
Lord together. I consider it an honor to have been friends with you, you loved and poured out yourself on behalf of others, and you had the most powerful anointing to worship and bring in the presence of God. I am s grateful that God placed Charlotte in my life. God gave Charlotte so many wonderful gifts that she freely shared with those in her life. Her smile lit up a room. We will always treasure that Charlotte was a part of our wedding and along with being in the wedding party she sang the most beautiful rendition of "Draw Me Close". She was so secretive about it and made sure we left the church before she would practice it the night of the rehearsal. She made it so much better than the version that was published and sang on the radio. Her impact and friendship in my life will never be forgotten. Our family loves her dearly. God Bless you Charotte.
