Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-6:15 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd), with a service immediately following. There will be a celebration of Cora's life at the Jewish Community Center, 1200 Edgewood Avenue, Rochester on April 3rd at a time TBA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Jewish Community Center or National Kidney Foundation, 15 Prince St, Rochester, NY 14607 in Cora's memory.

first let me say, candy rest in peace. pete,row row, may the lord give u peace and comfort a this time.im from the same hood as candy and her family,frost ave center for life! i remember her at 7years old and she always had a good heart,and soul. as i sit here, i must say i never knew her name was cora,but now that i no this, it brings a smile to my heart.i left in 1975, so i never saw here grow up,but one thing i no for sure is, pete loved his sisters very much,that i no!!! i no mr&mrs holliday met her at the gates with loving arms.so pete and row row,i love you and never forgot my epworth family. michael jackson.

I went all through Nazareth Academy with Cora & her sister Letha. Several years back I was in Parkleigh & saw Cora there. We chatted for a while. I was so shocked to hear of her passing. My thoughts & prayers to Letha & the rest of her family. Cora was a wonderful person. Heaven has a lovely new angel now.

How well I remember Cora as one of my favorite students at Nazareth Academy. She was a joy to teach. Then I got to see her at Parkleigh on occasion and it was like a reunion every time.

My first memory of Cora is really a non-memory. We almost burned a house down together. We were neighbors in the same building. I took out the power. Then she put something to heat in the toaster oven, and left with it on when it didn't work. After I got the power back on, the smoke began! A near miss but we conspired without knowing it.

That is how I met the Holliday family.

They became like my family.

Billie and Lee, I love you and my heart is out there for you. Phyl, I know you lost your soul. Be strong.

Great times, Cora! Whatever adventure you are working on now, be as fun, and as positive, as you have always been.

You touched my life and I love you.
