Daniel Connors Obituary
Webster. Passed away March 18, 2008, age 50. Husband, best friend, and soul mate of Kathy Jo B. Connors, who survives. Also survived by his parents, Edward and Esther Connors, Gates, NY; six brothers and four sisters-in-law: Robert (Judy) Connors, Ashburn, Virginia; John Connors, Jackson Heights, NY; Lawrence (Mary) Connors, Green Bay WI; Joseph (Jaya) Connors, Delmar, NY; Thomas (Cathy Nadeau) Connors, Penfield, NY; James Connors, Pulaski, NY; parents-in-law: Herbert A. Jr and Mary Kathern Beadle, Sodus, NY; brothers (sisters)-in-law: Herbert A. III (Rebecca) Beadle, Webster, NY; Keith (Joan) Beadle, Webster, NY; several aunts, uncles and cousins; fourteen nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law and friend, Craig Beadle; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Lynn Beadle. Also survived by Molly, his faithful dog who loved Dan's gentle firm leadership, and Dixie Lee and Gunnar, now deceased, other members of his pack. Dan was an optician at Wilson Health Center Optical Services and found great pleasure from providing volunteer optical services at local facilities serving the elderly. A former member of the Irondequoit Fish and Game Club, Dan loved fishing and camping in the Adirondacks and Wayland, NY, and the mountains of Pennsylvania; Proud Irish member of Polish American Club, where he enjoyed bluffing friends at the poker table; Dan was a passionate chef who specialized in BBQ and Cajun-inspired feasts, and an accomplished billiards player. Dan's mischievous smile and altar boy- inspired service ethic bettered the lives of the countless individuals who were fortunate to cross the first part of Dan's life journey. Dan and his family extend special thanks to the compassionate medical providers at Rochester General Hospital's Medical Intensive Care Unit.
Friends may call Monday, March 24th, 2-4, 7-9 pm at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd.). You are invited to bring a written memory or photos for the family's Remembering Book. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 25th, 9:30 am at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 783 Hard Rd., Webster. Interment at Webster Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Double H Ranch. Mrs. Connors and family,
I am a co-worker of Dan's at Wilson Health Center. Although I did not work with him side by side - Dan and I shared many stories about our trips to Ireland. He was a wonderful person who worked to provide excellence in optical care for all of his patients including his co-workers. We will all miss Dan's gentle manner.

I just read of the passing of your dear husband, son and brother, I wish to express my sympathy to all. I have been going to the Wilson Center for many years and Dan has always been so helpful and kind to myself and my family.
