Daniel Glidden Obituary
Las Vegas: Born on March 14, 1954. He died on Friday, April 24, 2009, while riding his Harley Davidson. He is survived by his adoring wife Laura, step son Corey, daughter and son-in -law Jessica and Sean Escoe; 3 grandchildren, sister Bonnie Keilman, brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Sharon Glidden, sister-in-law and husband Gina and Mark (Hobo) Phillips, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and best friend Vinny Calabrese along with many other friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph B. and Marilyn A. Glidden (Fellows).
Dirt worked for Southland Industries in Las Vegas and is a member of Sheet metal workers union Local 88. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Las Vegas and Florida.
Dan was born and raised in North Chili, NY., went to school in the Churchville-Chili Central School district, lived in Florida, Texas and finally in Las Vegas. He loved to ride his motorcycle with his wife and thoroughly enjoyed the company of other riders.
To know "Dirt" was to know one of the greatest men with the best sense of humor there was. He could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and hilarious stories about life.
He will be missed and always remembered. Live to Ride

i cant find the words for you dirt right now all i can think of is all the wonderful times we all had together. the day you passed a little piece of my heart went with you and a big piece of johnny's heart went with you!all i could think of was poor laura cause she lost her best freind!! i now know how that feels i too have lost my best freind my soul mate and you my freind have gained an energizer bunny !! we love you forever and ever even after death do us part it doesnt end there see you again my freind . love rhonda

I am sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I knew him when he got his first denim jacket. Always a CB. I worked with Ralph (dad) in Orlando before he retired and graduated with Ralph (brother). My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. I too am a biker.

Bonnie & Ralphie, I can't begin to tell you how sorry we are to hear about Danny. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It seems like not that long ago I was sending you a message in here and we touched base after close to 40 years. I am sad that Danny passed away. I remember meeting him when I was a small child and thought he was "cool" because of his motorcycle. Our family was praying for you Sunday night. You will continue to be be in our prayers.
