What I will remember about Dave most is his love for his grand children, family and kids in general. He had a way with all kids that made them feel like he was their grandpa. I admired his strength and selflessness. I hope we can find comfort in knowing he and Sarah are together and not far away, but in the next room.

It's been a long time since the days when we all laughed together, when life seemed simpler and we had our whole lives ahead of us. But I still remember those days often and fondly. I remember the remarkable love and friendship Hope and Dave shared. Heaven's gain is the world's loss. Hope, my heart goes out to you. Know that he has not left you - he is but a whisper away.

To my beloved nephew. I loved it when you called me Auntie. I am going to miss you so much. You are an amazing husband, dad, grandpa, son in law, brother in law, nephew and friend! Your leaving us has left a huge void in this family. You are so many things to so many people and we will never ever forget you. You did so much for everybody never thinking of yourself. I will honor your love and friendship by always being available to Hopie and the girls for whatever they may need. I love you to the moon and back dear nephew. Give my honey a big hug. I'm sure he was waiting for you so you can share all those grand baby stories. Until we meet again I will hold you close to my heart. Auntie Vicki

Dave, Even though you are not on this earth, I know you are still looking after everyone just like you always do. That is why I know you will hear me say thank you for all the guidance you gave to my son Stephen. Steve looked up to you as a father. You are responsible for the man he is today. You took him under your wing and mentored him. i know you didn't do that just because of his relationship with Hope. You both had a mutual respect and love for each other. I know that he will take care of Hope and Tyler. He will also help big Hope and the girls.

Hope, Hope and family, my heart breaks for you at the loss of such a wonderful man from you lives. I know he is not gone. He is still watching over everyone and will continue to do so. He so loved his family. I am so glad to have known him. He lives in your heart and memories. I believe you will still hear his voice on the breeze or hear his laugh in the quite moments. May God help you through this sad time. Love to you all.

I will always remember you Dave as the loving father of Sarah and Hope and the steadfast grandpa of Camille and Isabella. I was always happy to hear from you with your frequent check ins on your girls. You and Hope were in my mind the most loving parents and grandparents I have ever worked with. God Speed you to your children in heaven and we will watch over your angels on earth.
