Doris Scutt Obituary
(Clements)
Avon-Akron: June 21, 2012 at age 81. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Walter A. Scutt; daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Allan, Tina Scutt (Scott Warren); sons, Stephen (Joyce) Scutt, Daniel (Barbara) Scutt, Timothy (Michelle) Scutt, Kenneth (Susan) Scutt; sisters, Barbara (John) Bailey, Shirley (Abner) Moore, Carol (David) Dembroski; brother, William Clements; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sherry Scutt; great-grandsons, Andrew Englehardt, David Welch; brother, David Clements.
Doris was a former member of the Avon Wesleyan Church and the Akron Free Methodist Church.
Family and friends are invited to call Sunday 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon. Monday at 11 AM her Funeral Service will be held at the Akron Free Methodist Church, Akron. Interment, Avon Cemetery, Avon. Memorials may be made to the Akron Free Methodist Church, 6 Scotland Rd, Akron, NY 14001 or the Kidney Foundation in her memory.

Doris Scutt. Oh my goodness! I knew her in my younger years ( she befriended my mother Emma) & tho its been many many years since I've seen her - I think of her often. She has given me so many fond memories . I learned True family values from her & I will always be grateful for that. Doris was truely a blessing. Her memory will always be with me....God bless all of you.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Doris.
Though it has been MANY years since I have seen her - I have thought often of her and her family throughout the years.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. "Aunt" Dorie was a lot of fun, I'll never forget the laughs we shared when we worked together "picken tators"!!She will be missed.

I will miss Aunt Dorie. She was always fun to be around. She was a very sweet women. I wish I could be there to see the family. It was so hard losing Mom just last month, losing Aunt Dorie so soon afterwards is difficult. My heart goes out to Uncle Walt and all of my cousins. Love Karen Kay Scutt.
