Rochester: December 5, 2011. Predeceased by his parents, David & Sylvia Archibald, & sister, Catherine Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; sons, Daniel (Cheryl) Archibald, & Timothy (Erin) Archibald; daughter, Michelle Archibald, all of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; aunt & uncle, Muriel & Chet Nothhard, & many cousins. Doug worked for Star Markets & was an employee of Ten Cate ENBI Rochester. The family will receive friends to share memories on WEDNESDAY from 2-4 & 7–9 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, 495 N. Winton Rd. (between Browncroft & Humboldt). His Funeral Mass will be held on THURSDAY at 9:30 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. John The Evangelist Church (549 Humboldt St.). Interment White Haven Memorial Park. For those wishing, please consider honoring Doug with a donation to the Monroe Community Hospital Foundation (435 E. Henrietta Rd., 14620). Kathy,I can not begin to tell you how much knowing Doug has brighten my life. So many great memories!!I know that Doug is now in Heaven adding his special joy (I remember Doug in a swimming pool graduation night,Oh what a time we had).
