Edwin Scorse Obituary
Spencerport/Mumford: Wednesday May 15, 2012 at the age of 57. Ted is predeceased by his father, Edwin T. Scorse Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Scorse; his wife of 32 years, Mary L. Scorse; his daughters, Melanie (Jim) Scacchetti and Jennifer (Eric) Knittel; grandchildren, Vincent & Dominic Scacchetti and Sarah & Eric (Jr.) Knittel; siblings, Thomas (Marla) Scorse, Mary Beth (Bob) Thompson, Terry (Peggy) Scorse, Mary Lou (Mike) Colletta, Todd Scorse, and twins, Tim Scorse and Mary Ann Webb; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear & close friends. Ted retired in November of 2009 from the Monroe County Sheriffs Office after 32 years of service. To light a candle of remembrance please visit www.walkerbrothersFH.com.
Ted's visitation will be held 4-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559. Interment Mumford Rural Cemetery. I worked with Ted and saw him as a rookie deputy who quickly worked his way up as a boss. I can honestly say he was a good employee and a good man. Sorry for your loss I know he is missed by Family and friends to include me.

I was saddened to here of Ted's passing. When I was a new deputy, he taught me the job. I always enjoyed working with and for Ted for 13 years. Please except my condolences.
