A little over a year has passed since your passing Bette. I still miss you like it was yesterday. It is difficult when spring arrives and I am working in my yard missing my Buddy's, Bette, Marian Duckett, Sam Mixon, and Erica "Rick" Spivey. All of us made up the Marlborough Crew. Those were great times and I will cherish them for ever. The many memories of you Bette sustain me and I will be forever grateful that GOD allowed me to share in just a portion of your life. Thanks to Skip and Denise for allowing us to be with Bette as long as we were able. To GOD Be the Glory!

I met Bette when I moved to Marlborough Rd over 28 years ago. I met Bette on day two of my arrival, fell in love with her and have loved her as I love my Mom ever since. I am devastated by her death, despite the fact that Bette lived a long, full, and active life. This is only from a selfish stand point, that we will no longer be able to chat with Bette. She IS truly one of our dearest friends! Skip and Denise and Family, you are in our prayers. We were out of the country when we heard of Bette's death, and wish we could have been here to support you. GOD Bless
