Eugene Huether Obituary

Eugene G. Huether, 51, died suddenly on July 11, 2010. Predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Grace Huether. Survived by his children, Mary Jean and Stephen B.; sisters, Barbara (Frank) Sorenson, Claire (Joseph) Cooney; and brothers, James (Alice) and Paul (Denise) Huether; many relatives and friends in Rochester.
Gene was a 1980 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. While active, he was a Naval Flight Officer, Admirals Aide at Joint Strategic Target Planning Staff, assigned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff as an Admirals Aide and served at the Navy Command Center at the Pentagon. He was actived with the Navy Reserve until his retirement as a Captain in 2007.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612. Donations in Gene's memory may be made to VA Volunteer Service, c/o Lyons Campus, 151 Knob Croft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939.
