Florence Furman Obituary
East Windsor, NJ: Florence R. Miller Furman died Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was 88.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she had lived in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey and Ocala, Florida before moving to East Windsor over one year ago.
She was a communicant of Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Ocala. She was an avid reader who cherished her family and friends.
Her husband Donald E. Furman died in 2006. She is also predeceased by a son Donald E. Furman, Jr. in 2005. Surviving are a daughter Linda Mumber and her husband John of Allentown, NJ; a son William N. Furman and his wife Jean of Fairport, New York; and a granddaughter Kaitlin Jean Furman.
Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Monday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Milltown, NJ. Private cremation will follow. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007.
