Floyd Schroeder Obituary
Salisbury, NC - Floyd "Butch" Richard Schroeder, age 77, of Salisbury, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
Mr. Schroeder was born April 22, 1941 in LeRoy, NY, a son of the late Lois Mae Frigheit Schroeder Coniber and Floyd Lewis Schroeder. He attended Pavilion and Leroy, NY schools and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had also served as a volunteer for the Fire Department and Ambulance in Caledonia, NY. He was a member of Milford Hills United Methodist Church in Salisbury, NC and the Moose Family Center 1132 in LeRoy, NY.
He was preceded in death by his three sisters: Diane, Judy and Lois Ann.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Salway Schroeder; children: Sherry (Scott) Bray of Kernersville, NC; Deborah (Ben Lafferty) Schroeder of Pavilion, NY; Floyd R. (Heather) Schroeder, Jr. of Pavilion, NY; step-sons: Tom Salway of LeRoy, NY; Russ Salway of Batavia, NY; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Ronald (Bonnie) Coniber ; Raymond (Debbie Johnson) Coniber, both of LeRoy, NY, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 2nd, immediately followed by the Memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at Leroy United Methodist Church, Trigon Park, Leroy, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warrior House of Western NY or the family.
