Frank Cardoni Obituary
Penfield - Monday, May 24, 2021 at age 90. Predeceased by his grandson Michael and 9 sisters. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rosemary Calabrese Cardoni; daughters, Nancy Cardoni, Mary Beth Cardoni and Jennifer Wendel; granddaughter, Sarah Ray; brothers and sisters-in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Friends are invited to join the family Wednesday, June 2, 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Church for his funeral mass. At the family's request, masks are required. Inurnment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Center, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623. I couldn’t ask for a better Uncle , he could be very funny and also very serious. I’ll never forget when he was the only Deputy Sheriff in the whole town of Penfield and he use to stop by our house often. One morning I was in 6th grade and he stopped by early and said Robby do you want a ride to school so I said sure. He said ok sit in the back and when we pulled into the school he turned on the one red gum-ball light and opened the back door and grabbed my arm and walked me to the front door and said have a great day Robby. All the students were checking us out and they all thought I got in serious trouble .I let them think what they wanted but no one ever bothered me again after being dropped of by a Deputy Sheriff!! I will miss you Uncle Frank , take care of my mom. Love nephew Robby xoxo

Dear Rosemary, Betty Ann called to give me the news of your husband’s passing. The trite sentiments are well intended, but overall don’t really heal the hole in that’s left in your heart. These well-intended sentiments are a patch. You and Frank shared a lifetime and there’s nothing that can ever replace all the years of memories, good, bad, or otherwise. Please know that I’m thinking of you and your family and offering prayers for God to bless all of you and grant you whatever strength you need, to carry on.
