Henry Barnickel Obituary
Greece: June 9, 2012, age 86. Predeceased by his brother-in-law, Pat Cerone. Survived by his devoted and loving wife, Marge, of 64 years; loving children, Carol Smith, Robert Barnickel, Brenda (Jeff Snyder) Morgott; loving grandchildren, Brian (Lori) Strong, Kari (Dave) Cubiotti and Matthew Cirasolo (Morgott); great-grandchildren, Ashton & Karson Cubiotti, and Kayla Strong; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Cerone; loving nieces and nephews, Linda (Michael) Sofia & Richard (Jackie) Cerone; several other nieces, nephews and great-nieces & nephews; and dear friends, Donna & Chuck, Ralph & Connie. Henry retired from GM Delco with 38 years of service, and was a WWII Army veteran serving in the Pacific, and was honored with a Purple Heart. The family would like to thank Dr. Christidis and staff, and Dr. Volvo and staff at Unity Hospital and Hildebrandt Hospice for their wonderful support and care.
Friends may call TODAY, 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta). Funeral Mass, 11:00 Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Church (Greece). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight of Rochester.

What a great guy! I always loved Henry. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I have so many fond memories of Harvest Dr. and all the neighbors. He always made me laugh. I truly feel your loss and please know that you are in my thoughts at this very very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Henry's passing. My husband, Gerard, considered Henry as a close family friend, and remembers his time in Rochester fondly when he was trying to work for Kodak. Gerard's parents, Jack and Millie are close friends with Henry and Marge, and we always looked forward to hearing about the latest visits and news. Marge, I'm so sorry for your loss.

We are sorry for your loss of Henry he told us a lot of stories and jokes through the years. when ever we ran into him at Wegmans. He had a good sense of humor. I am so sorry to hear of Hank's passing. My thoughts are with all of you. I have had the pleasure to get to know Carol and Bob over the past few years and to meet mom. I was glad to see dad's picture from the honor flight, your dad was just awesome with my mom and myself on mission 18, the 3 musketeers. Thank you Hank for the warm and happy memories on that mission.

Dad, Words can not express what you mean to me. You were just a wonderful Father to me I could not ask for anything more. I appreciate EVERYTHING you have done for me. You were always there for me no matter what, even though you would give me a hard time at times you came through and I so appreciate it.My memories of you and I and the family will be in my heart forever. I can't not believe you are gone it doesn't seem real. I will miss you so much but I know we will be together again someday. We will take good care of Mom. I LOVE YOU DAD and I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
