Henry Snyder Obituary
Marion: Dec. 10, 2008, age 78. He is survived by his wife, Jean Snyder; 6 children, Sandy (Jack) Jordan, Laurie Youngman, Beth (Doug) Hackett, Scott (Anjel) Rowe, Anita (David) Cornell, Cheryl (Andy) Engels; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Bryn, Dustin, Cadan, Cody, Bill, Richard, Brandon, Asha, Taylor Marie, Taylor James, Lauren; 3 great-grandchildren; several cousins including Mary McAmmond. Mr. Snyder was the President and CEO of the former E.G. Snyder Corp of Rochester. His civic responsibilities led him to serve on the board at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic and the Dome Arena in Henrietta. He was an active member of the Rochester Rotary Club, Masons and the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Canandaigua.
Friends may call Sunday 3-6 pm at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua, His Memorial Service will be held Monday at 1:00 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 320 S. Pearl St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in White Haven Memorial Park, Perinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
