James Quarfot Obituary
Greece: January 8, 2014 after illness. Jim is survived by his wife and soul mate Joan; his children: Jeff (Monica) Quarfot, Tracy (William) Pellicano, Todd (Beth) Quarfot, Laney (Joseph) Vogt, Gail Van Auker, Todd (Michele) Van Auker; 18 loving grandchildren and many great friends. Jim proudly served the US Military in both the Army and Navy. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Jim will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched with his love, humor and warmth. For more information about Jim, visit www.aliferemembered.com
Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). Jim's Memorial Service is at Hope Lutheran Church (1301 Vintage Lane) on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Jim's memory.

Our hearts are aching over the loss of Jim. He was such a special person, and we miss him so much. He was caring, warm, fun, charming, and a gentleman. You both did so much for us in HHI, and it''s not the same without you. Know that our thoughts and love are with you.

Jeff, Tracey and family. It's your old friend Scott from Indian Guides. I am sorry to hear about your dads passing. I remember him as always fun loving and quick witted and a lot of fun to be with on our various adventures during our days way back then. God Bless you all.
