Jean Rice Obituary
Mesa, AZ: Passed away suddenly at the age of 86 on May 13, 2015 in Mesa, AZ. She was born in Chicago and moved to Arizona 30 years ago from Rochester, NY. Jean toured the world as a Navy wife with her husband Gene of 65 years. She devoted her life to her family which includes her children Jim (Colleen) Rice, Barb DeLair, and Debbie (Bud) Collins; grandchildren Jason Rice (Heather), Steven (Cara) Rice, Brian Collins (Kim), and Elizabeth Collins; great-grandchildren Liam, Lincoln, and Kinley. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed doing cross stitch, loved hummingbirds and was an avid baseball fan.
A celebration of her life will be held at Mariposa Gardens at 6747 East Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206 on Monday May 18, 2015 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cardon's Children Hospital in Mesa, AZ. Please visit www.mariposagardens.com to view complete obituary and leave an online condolence
