John Griffin Obituary
Rochester - Passed away on March 20th, 2020 at the age of 101. Predeceased by his wife, Mattie Griffin; sons, William and Jerome Griffin. He is survived by his children, John (Kathy) Griffin, Joy (Glen) Holladay, Leroy (Dolores) Griffin and Brenda Griffin; 56 grandchildren, along with a host of many, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to, Downtown United Presbyterian Church, 121 Fitzhugh St N, Rochester, NY 14614. My sincere condolences to the family of John M Griffin. What an outstanding life you lead. And the thoughts and memories you have had. Uncle John you will truly be missed. What a blessing to have lived that long and still be in your right mind. Your life has touched the hearts of so many people. May God continue to bring healing of broken hearts and comfort to those who spirits are in mourning. May God bring the family peace.

John & Mazie were our neighbors on Vassar Street for many years. My husband had known them since he was a boy. We send our sympathies to Johns family at this time. He was a great guy, what a long life! ❤
