Sr. Joyce I am so very sad to have to say goodbye to you at this time. You played such a major role in my life, the lives of my children and husband. There has not been a day that those memories have not been part of my life. I will always remember your love and hope that someday we will meet again.

After all these years I still remember everything you attempted to instill in the students at St Micheal's. Thank you for everything you have provided me and others in life.

Rest in peace, Sister Joyce. I carry fond memories of you from my days as a student of St. Michael in the early 60s. You are admired, loved and missed.

Sr.Joyce I'm so sad that my grandchildren will never know the support and love you provided me, Jennifer and Anthony. You were their refuge and fun place to be when chaos reigned. I will always remember you and look forward to the day we meet again.

My heart is (selfishly) broken, and I am in shock, as I read about Sister Joyce this morning. She is with our Lord and Savior, and there is no greater place. I am one of Sister Joyce's very first students. She came into my life at St. Rita's 4th grade, the year St. Rita's School opened, and she never left my life. We have been in contact all these years. When I would come back to Rochester to visit, we would meet for breakfast and "catch-up" in person. We exchanged emails just last week. She was "fine". As her obituary said, she truly did care for her students, and followed a great many of us through our lives. I will miss her earthy presence and guidance, but she has reached her journey's end and is rejoicing with HIM for the rest of eternity. I send my condolences to her family, who absolutely meant so much to her. We all have been blessed to have her in our lives. I love you, Sister Joyce. Thank you for ALL you gave to me.
