Kevin McAfee Obituary
Chicago/Rochester: September 15, 2012. Predeceased by his mother, Sheila McAfee: niece, Colleen Dobbins. Kevin is survived by his wife, Kimberly; daughter, Madison; father, Thomas (Cheryl); brother, Brian (Jennifer), sister, Erin (David) Dobbins; niece, Maura Dobbins; mother-in-law, Paula Giudice; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Kevin attended West Irondequoit High School. Kevin was a friend of Bill W.
The family is grateful to the Southeast Bible Baptist church and Pastor Zac Dressner for all of the love and support that they have extended to Kevin and his family.
No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 1:00pm at Southeast Bible Baptist Church, (1850 Nine Mile Pt Rd, Penfield, NY) for his memorial service. In lieu of flowers, a NYS College Fund has been established for Madison McAfee, checks may be made payable to Thomas McAfee, 27 Frostholm Dr, Rochester, NY 14624. i heard about your passing, and i found a photo of us from 1995 when we played basketball for christ the king. i remember asking u,"kevin y do u shoot like that" and u said "the guy on the nba jam game does" and how u tried teaching me, and i just never got it ha ha. cant believe ur gone.

You will be deeply missed...I remember growing up playing little league and sharing many laughs with you. You recently reached out to me asking how I was and hoping I was enjoying life...it brought a smile to my face hearing from you again. You really did bring joy to those around you. Kevin I am so sorry to hear that you have left us so soon. Although I do believe that you are at peace now and do not have to fight those demons anymore brother, I just can't believe that your gone. Anyways my deepest condolences go out to all family members and especially to his wife and child!!. you will be missed by many who have loved you both here and now and in the past as well. Kevin,
I've spent time over the last few days reminiscing about jr high summers spent on rollerblades and evenings piled 8 people high on my neighbors hammock... high school years visiting at your house on lunch breaks and late night walks home from various parks. I am grateful for your support and guidance when I followed your lead to a healthier life style and most recently recall your generosity as you donated boxes of much needed supplies to the at risk teens I work with. You will forever be remembered for your huge heart and great sense of humor!
To live in hearts that love is not to die.
