I just learned of Kurt's death and was very sad. I knew Kurt when we were kids at Laurelton and throughout High School. He was always a very sweet person even as a kid. My prayers are with you.

Kurt and I worked together at Progressive and he took me under his wing to guide me through the NYSIU. He was a very caring manager, attentive to feelings and seemed to always be able to come up with a workable solution. Even after I left Progressive, Kurt would call me when he came to town and we would meet at DD for a "cup of coffee" to catch up! A true gentleman, an outstanding leader and a great friend - your memories will remain forever!

All my deepest sympathies. I had the pleasure of working with Kurt for several years and he is and will be deeply missed. Kurt took myself and Frank Martin out sailing on his boat. I will remember him sailing, smiling, at ease, at peace. God Bless Good Friend.

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad! My thoughts are with you at this sad time. We had some good times together, being the maid of honor in your mom and dads wedding, and living just around the corner in Hamlin. Many years ago, but still remember his laugh and how much fun we had.
Love you guys,
"Obie"

My sincerest condolences to Kurt's family for their loss. I only worked with Kurt for a short time when I was with Progressive SIU . He was a positive influence and was open with praise when a job was well done . I always appreciated him "being in my corner".

I worked for Kurt for six years 01-'06, and I have not seen him in the six years since I left SIU. I was sad to learn of his tragic death, I still consider him a good friend, an honest supervisor and most of all a truly decent man. I will always remember his friendly manner, firm hand shake and broad smile. A very good man..who's traits are often lost in a corporate world.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kurt for the first time ten years ago. Since then I have had the honor of working with him on a number of projects. He was extremely knowledgeable and always willing to do whatever was needed to accomplish the job. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all! May his spirit and memories live on.

Kurt and I became quick friends the first day we met. He was working SIU for General Accident and I was a young man just cutting my teeth in the business. Kurt soon joined me at Progressive and became one of my closest friends and a great mentor. We shared countless laughs together and I will never forget him - he was a great person.

It is with great heaviness in my heart that I extend my sympathies to the Lloyd family. Kurt was my manager at Progressive and I couldn't ask for a better leader and friend. Kurt always treated me with the upmost respect. He was a great man and heaven just got an Angel.

I met Kurt in 1996 when we both started with Progressive Insurance. We both were retired law enforcement officers. We quickly became very good friends and maintained a close relationship over the years. I as well as everyone who knew him will miss him terribly. He was a great guy, a wonderful family man and a close friend.
