Madelin DePoint Obituary
Palmyra: 87, went to be with her Lord in heaven on Wed., April 23, 2008, at Clifton Springs Hospital. Family and friends are invited to call from 2-5pm on Sun., April 27th at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Mon., April 28th at the East Palmyra Christian Reformed Church. Burial will be in East Palmyra Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Madelin may be directed to American Cancer Society, 1400 N. Winton Rd., Rochester, NY 14609.
Madelin was born on Oct. 20, 1920 to Peter and Anna Russell Pieters. She was married to Isaac J. DePoint Jr. on April 30, 1942 In East Palmyra, NY. Madelin had worked for Garlock in Palmyra for over 30 years and was a former member of the Palmyra Kings Daughters.
Madelin is survived by her loving son, James DePoint of Palmyra; brother-in-law Jacob DePoint of Marion and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Isaac J. DePoint Jr., on August 3, 2002, and her sister Mary Levis.
